Bramston School Pamphlet

This pamphlet was produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bramston School.

With an introduction by the then Head Teacher, Mr Wade, the pamphlet includes information on the opening of the school including the layout and the teachers, as well as what it was like as a pupil on that first day.

The pamphlet continues with a comparison of each subject in 1937 and 1987 and biographies of some of the longer serving members of staff teaching in 1987.

The original Bramston School was built as quadrangle, but additional buildings were added as the local population grew. All of these were demolished in 2011 to make way for the new building that now stands on the Spinks Lane site called Maltings Academy.
